Radiation sickness is the result of accumulating high amounts of radiation in the body. While treatable, the survivor suffering from it will be penalized on their health, food, water, and energy levels until cured.
Radiation Sickness Stages[]
The sickness will get worse the more radiation gets accumulated in survivors. With each stage, the sickness will require better medicine in order to counter the effects of radiation poisoning, while the sickness will heal over time if left unchecked it will kill survivors.
Mild radiation sickness[]

This is the first stage of radiation sickness. While not as deadly as other stages and easily treatable, it can kill novice survivors for their lack of proper equipment.
Contracting[]
Raising radiation levels to 100 or higher will result in mild radiation sickness.

Mild radiation sickness will last forever until your radiation below 100 with the following effects:

The second stage of radiation sickness, if left untreated, will make a survivor succumb to it in less than a week. The effects will get worse and thirst and hunger will increase.

Healing salves, IR-190 and painkillers are needed for treating radiation sickness. Sickness duration will be reduced by 10% after treatment is applied and for the next 7 days negative effects will not apply. Total sickness lasts for 21 days.

This is the advanced stage of radiation sickness. At this stage, if untreated, the amount of health lost will cause death or in a day.

Treatment[]
Byrocarm, Chlorcystamine and painkillers are required to treat severe radiation sickness, once applied, the sickness will be reduced by 10% durability and hide all negative effects for 7 days until treatment is needed again. Severe radiation sickness will last 28 days.
Avoiding[]
Radiation sickness can be avoided by:
- Staying out of radiation zone
- Not sleeping in radiated areas
- Using a gas mask
- Using a radiation protective armor
- Taking Chlorcystamine before entering a radiation zone
- Consuming radiation reducing foods or drugs.
