Details
The Polar armor is a special type of armor unique to the 2021 New Year's Event. While the armor itself lacks in damage resistance for its low armor value it offers special abilities to compensate. These are Health boost, Damage boost and Armor boost because of the capability to upgrade the armor for increased stats.
Armor
The armor level will increase based on the current level of the polar armor.
- Level 1 +200 armor
- Level 2 +300 armor
- Level 3 +500 armor
Health
Equipping the armor will automatically increase the maximum health cap. Depending on the level of the armor will be the maximum health the survivor can achieve.
- Level 1 +100 extra HP
- Level 2 +300 extra HP
- Level 3 +500 extra HP
Note that equipping the armor wont refill the current health level, just raises the maximum cap.
Damage
The armor has the perk Berserker, a passive perk which increases the damage dealt to enemies based on how much health the survivor currently has, the less health will translate into a bigger damage output. The damage ranges from 0% - 100% extra damage.
To give players a rough idea about the damage amplification effect, if a players total amount of HP is 100, for every HP missing out of 100, it is equivalent to a rise of 1% damage to the character.

Appearance
The polar armor is unique in its shape, the full description is as follows:
- A polar bear skin is used as a cap and cape.
- Sports metallic armor in the rerebraces, spaulders breastplate, fauld and greaves.
- A red gambeson is worn under the metallic armor.
- The pants have a spiraling red and blue coloration.
- Both boots and gloves have inner insulation made of fur, most likely from the same polar bear used for the head.
- The armor uses a thick leather like belt.
- The breastplate boasts a snowflake decoration in golden color.
Obtaining
Polar Armor is available during the 2021 New Year's Event and can be obtained by decorating the New Year's Tree with Magic Cones and Magic Balls. It is the second best item that can be obtained from the event, following Moroz's Terem.

Trivia
- Polar Armor is the second type of armor introduced in-game that can be upgraded after the Monster Hunter Garb.
- Players can fully achieve 100% of damage buff from the armor with little less than 3 HP remaining, considering that the player's total maximum HP is 600 and the fact that said player is not affected by injuries, diseases and the Strapping Lad Perk as these can impact HP required for triggering 100% damage increase.
- Before v7xx [version number needed], If players unequipped Polar Armor while their HP is at maximum (600 HP), once they equipped it again, their HP will revert back to original and they will have to spend time to regain it back again.
- it is not recommended to use the armor against heavily armed bandits or against super bandit camps as it's easily worn down (which is it's biggest drawback )so use it when to want to deal damage as much as possible and recommended to have pets or ally to protect you and distract the enemy or hide behind cover to avoided getting shot by bandit with any sniper rifle,pkm or armor piercing weapon and avoided the explosion blast by f-1 grenade homemade rocket launcher or rpg 7 and any bee's and giant scorpion and mutant like as it can heavily damage the polar armor so use it wisely.
