Original GAZ-66
The GAZ-66 is a Soviet and later Russian 4x4 all-road (off-road) military truck produced by GAZ. It was one of the main cargo vehicles for motorized infantry of the Soviet Army and is still employed in former Soviet Union countries[1]. It is nicknamed shehsherik (шешерик) trueman (in Siberia).

- The vehicle was added with v.610 BETA on the 19th of December 2018.
- In older versions, it was one of the few vehicles that cannot be disassembled when functional, the others being: KamAZ, KrAZ-255, Mi-8, Electromobile, BelAZ and the Black volga.
- In older versions, it was the first truck the narrator can assemble.
- The in-game GAZ-66 can carry 8 tons, while in real life its original payload is about 2 tons. It used to carry 6 tons, but that was increased to 8 in v.666.
