Details
The electric car are one of the most useful and economical vehicles you can get in the game. It does not consume any fuel and have reasonable capacity and great mileage.
It is a red nuclear powered ZAZ-968 that no longer requires Gasoline to function, but it will still degrade with use. It can be repaired from the various settlements Specialist for the required amount of currency that is used.
Obtaining
Nuclear Battery is the core material of this vehicle and it can only be obtained from Muroran Super Bandit Camp which is located further east of the map, close to Japan which requires one to travel across the sea.
Survivors can only craft one electric car throughout the game, as the bandit bases does not reset unless there is a massive game update.
Once obtained, survivors must head back to Irkutsk Settlement and obtain crafting services from the workshop Specialist. The workshop must need to be upgraded to Level 3.

Trivia
- Prior to v701, another unique item the Electric Motor was also required to build the electric car. A working ZAZ-968 was converted into the electric vehicle and consumed in the process. However, it was a mystery how the colour of the vehicle was changed while no paint was used.
- In earlier game versions, the electric car was the final reward of a letter-based quest.
- It is also known as the "E-Car" for short.
- It is one of the few vehicles that cannot be disassembled.
- It is possible to have multiple electric cars.
