Dandelion is a type of plant that can be easily found anywhere across the map. It is an ingredient used for a whole lot of purposes which could tremendously aid survivors in the wasteland.
Obtaining
Dandelion is a random encounter and is not hard to find as long the Survivor spares a little bit of his time in searching. The plant can be easily found anywhere on the coast, on roads and the wasteland.
Applications
Dandelion has many applications that could help the Survivor survive in the wasteland. Depending on the needs, the Survivor can use the plant to craft useful items which could aid him during tough times.

+1, -1, -1, and food poisoning of 10%. - In older versions, Painkiller requires dandelions to synthesize and also repair Plague Doctor Mask.
