Currently, there are seven different pistols in-game, with one revolver (Nagant revolver) and two machine pistols (APS and C96). While being generally weak compared to assault rifles or rifles (some armor-piercing pistols are great for dealing with armored opponents), they make up for their lack of power with the relative ease to find ammo for pistols and their low AP usage (the handmade pistol is the only exception here, with its 2 AP usage).

Perks[]

Pistols benefit from these perks:

• Avenger (Only works in weapon's range and prioritises strongest pistol. If strongest pistol is not able to shoot due to lack of range, while another pistol can, the perk will utilise the second pistol. Pistols must be in weapon deck)
• Dual Wielding (Handmade pistol won't benefit from dual wielding)
• Pistol Range +1
• Pistol Expert

• Saving on weapon costs

These are notes about the table and some weapon attributes.

• Mauser C96 can only be obtained from Survivor Caches
• Handmade Pistol cannot be repaired
• Max damage is calculated without food buffs and Polar Armor. It is only calculated using perks such as Monster Hunter, Headhunter or Hunter, and Pistol Expert.
• For the row "max damage", if there is the word "Armor" in brackets, it means the the max damage has been adjusted for the Double Damage to Armor attribute some weapons have. To find the damage without the armor damage benefit, halve the values.
• This table does not include seasonal items.
