Details[]
The Black Wolves are giant wolves with black coats of fur. These wolves are stronger than common wolves, and even larger than radioactive wolves.
Born from the She-Wolf, the Black Wolves are a new species of radiation-born mutants, rather than being deformed by radiation exposure like radioactive wolves, their thick hide seems to make them resistant to small arms fire.
While born from a radioactive wolf, Black Wolves are not fully immune to the effects of radiation exposure as seen with the laboratory wolf, and will still develop radiation blisters.
Attack[]
Attacks are much like any other wolf, although radioactive.
Habitat[]
They are mainly found in the Slaughterhouse near Kiev. However one of them is found in the Institute of Virology.
Quest[]
- While searching for the Tula letter, the narrator sees that someone had died to a black wolf, and entered the virus room for a smoke grenade, as one can choose to use smoke against it.;
- Throwing the smoke grenade at it will decrease its movement by 1, thus preventing it from reaching the narrator at the start.
- If you choose to make the narrator open the door and shoot, this will trigger a fight as well, but the wolf will have a movement range of 2 instead of 1.
After a black wolf dies, they can be butchered and eaten, however, their meat is radioactive.
