Bears are the strongest animals that can be found, usually found alone, packs of 2 bears can also be encountered while exploring the wasteland, during special circumstances 3 bears can be fought at the same time.
Given their strength and ability to increase it, bears pose as a serious threat to any unexperienced player.
Bears have an even stronger variant, the radioactive bear.
Attack
Bears attack by slashing their enemies. these creatures don't have any ranged attacks but they do posses the rage perk, every time the bear gets attacked his strength will increase by 10 points to a maximum damage of 180.

When spoiled, the bear carcass will turn into 180 rotten meat.
Encounters
- A bear can be summoned to the battlefield if the den is attacked, the summoned bear will attack allies and enemies alike.
- If sleeping in a forest without a fire and carrying honey, a bear might eat all the honey in the inventory and destroy the backpack of the player.
Trivia
Upon finding a bear, before starting the fight, the bear icon will show a damage status of 32-64, upon starting the fight with the bear, its base stats will be 40-80, this is mostly an error on the bear stats.
