AK-74 assault rifle chambered for the 5.45x39mm cartridge. It is one of the most common weapons to find in the wasteland and with a decent usage of AP and a moderate range it becomes one of the best weapons in the early stages of the game. Its biggest problem is that it consumes a lot of ammunition with each use (5 ammo).

A broken AK-74 can be repaired to create a functional AK-74.

• A Kalashnikov rifle is any one of a series of automatic rifles based on the original design of Mikhail Kalashnikov.
